General advice or thoughts to share:

  • Stay positive & active. Get involved w/helping others

  • Being happy is a skill one must practice every day.

  • Keep faith and hope alive

  • we need to recognize there are hard problems to solve and there are many different people in different situations that have needs and perspectives. People need to focus on this and stop fighting each other. The extremists are running the agenda and they have all fallen into the lowest form of looking at the world where all the problems are merely a result of someone else's wrong doings or poor character. It is not that simple.

  • Make wise choices and be kind

  • Just because we can ( afford it) doesn’t mean we should do it. Take time to ponder the meaning of life.

  • Lead with kindness, take your time.

  • I think young people might try to think seriously about NOT having children because we are getting close to being way too populated on this earth. When we can’t take care of people , provide housing , & health care and we lock up people for being Non white and then others profit from these prisoners in privately owned facilities which is to their advantage to have prisoners remain in the system. I want to get rid of the drug war policies completely as Judge Gray from California says in his TED talk. That’s all thank you!

  • We can't even begin to worry about any of the world's other problems until Trump leaves

  • This pandemic hits society in all the places where it has grown weakest. It is also showing us all the places where it has grown strongest (resilience of people, strength of community, collective action towards a purpose larger than ourselves)

  • Be patient and kind to one another. Work to make this world better for everyone not just the few.

  • The covid-19 pandemic is serious (1 million deaths globally is more than tragic) but climate change threatens the entire planet without hope of a vaccine to solve the issue.

  • Stay safe. Stay positive. VOTE.

  • Get through however you can

  • I think it's good to be bringing people together in this time. <3

  • I find history very comforting. We've been through hard times and emerged stronger.

  • We are all in this together and must find better ways to work as a team.

  • Don't worry, be happy, or what's a lifetime for.

  • Go outside. Notice how the Earth knows what to do. Learn from it. Walk everyday. Eat good food. Reach out to the people who make you feel whole and healthy and loved.

  • Try to be outside as much as possible Listen to music of your choice Don’t clutter your mind with negative thoughts Talk to friends Wash hands wear a mask and social distance.

  • It has helped me a lot to continue to reach out to people, and to continue to let myself be sad and frustrated when I need to be. It's also been helpful to look for ways to work around the restrictions and focus on the things that we still can do rather than focusing on the things we've lost and things we can't do. For example, we are celebrating a friend's birthday next weekend and we're having a small backyard fire pit shindig where everyone brings their own hot drink and I'll supply the spiking supplies. If we're restricted to outdoor gatherings only, let's lean into it and make it fall themed, complete with pumpkin cupcakes and butternut squash soup.

  • Vote. Stay positive and be kind.

  • Find pleasure in the small things, whether it's a walk around the neighborhood, coffee with a friend, the beauty of the fall leaves, or some really good takeout.

  • When hateful thoughts about our leaders fill my being, I listen to an episode of the podcast On Being, in which Krista Tippet interviews Cory Booker. Booker advocates for a politics of love; he even tweeted: "I love you, Donald Trump. ... I just don't want you to be my president." I am convinced of the rightness of this way of thinking/feeling: every single one of us is a human being worthy of love and holding intrinsic dignity.

  • Try your best to stay positive (even when it's difficult).

  • No denying that we are in a bad place as a country, but the right attitude always makes even a bad situation manageable
